Hiatus

Lately the big question I’ve been getting is, “Tim, where are the posts?”

It’s easy for me to post every other day when I’m traveling. Right now however I am just working and going to school. It’s not that interesting. I used to try to post every Monday but my ideas have fun kind of dry.

As I think of new things to post about or go on cool adventures I’ll update, but for now the regularly scheduled updates are going to be taking a break.

I have been throwing a lot of time into an ebook and I have a rough draft done that I am super proud of, but it is no where near being complete. When it launches though I’ll keep you guys in the loop.

The Bat Cave

In Bocas Del Toro, Panama there is a bat cave called La Gruta. According to Lonely Planet it was about a 6km walk and you paid a dollar to get in and got a water proof flashlight. Now I know why Jen always refers to it as the Lonely Liar.

After walking about 3km to save .50 cents on a taxi (other backpackers are so cheap!) we hop in a collective taxi and pay a dollar to be taken to La Gruta. At the start of the path there is a sign that says there is a dollar fee for “cave maintenance”. The entrance to the cave is pretty interesting, it was surrounded by Virgin Mary statues.

Video Blog #4 - Costa Rica

In Costa Rica we met up with my parents and stayed at a very luxurious house that had hot water. It was awesome. Sadly this is the last of my video blogs from the trip but I have fun with them so maybe I’ll do more in the future.
